Kellys Point Hire recently attended the big reveal of BBC’s DIY:SOS The Big Build’s most recent project at the McCreight family home in Bangor.
As one of the suppliers who donated resources to the project, including excavators, heaters, dehumidifiers and a range of other hire equipment, we were over the moon to see just how huge a transformation this project will clearly make to the McCreight family’s lives.
Mum, Mandy and dad, Davey, spoke passionately and emotionally to the crowd of suppliers who were involved with the project about just how life-changing the changes to their home will be.
Mark Miller, DIY SOS build manager, who grew up in Bangor, also struggled to keep his emotions in check as he spoke about the the generosity of the community and the changes he sees in the society of Northern Ireland between today and when he left 30 years ago.
Pictured below is Chris Gorman and Derek Mathers from Kellys Point Hire along with mum, Mandy and daughter, Kara.
A wonderful project to have been involved in, and we’d like to congratulate all those from the community who donated resources to the job.
We wish the McCreight family the very best of luck in adapting to their new home.
